Sales, Purchasing, and Service in SAP Business One 10.0
With improvements that enhance departmental functionality, Version 10 increases flexibility and ease of use in the core customer-facing areas of Sales, Purchasing, and Service modules.
Pre-Order Report
It is now possible to view the payment status of invoices on the same screen. With the new pre-order report enhancement, a new column has been added showing whether an invoice is fully paid, partially paid, or unpaid. In addition, a filtering option based on payment status has been introduced. This allows all prepayment information to be viewed directly within the pre-order report.
Blank Lines in Addresses
A newly added option to hide blank lines in addresses enables better readability of marketing document forms, especially those containing multiple address components. When selected, future marketing documents display delivery and billing addresses without blank lines, resulting in improved formatting for printed, previewed, or PDF documents.
Service Calls and Contracts
The Print Document feature now includes Service Calls and Service Contracts, allowing batch printing and distribution of these documents.
Marketing Documents
The extended ‘Add’ button provides greater flexibility and usability when creating marketing documents. The Add button in the sales and purchasing document creation process has been enhanced with the following options:
▪ Add and New: The document is added and a new window opens
▪ Add and View: The document is added and displayed
▪ Add and Close: The document is added and the window closes
Open Items List Report
In document headers, ownership details, Sales Employee/Buyer, Remarks, Approved, Created By, Contact Person, Payment Terms, Business Partner Project, and User Defined Fields (UDF) are now included.
